Inglemoor Handles Ballard 11-0

Trautmann Deals Complete Game

The Ballard Beavers travelled to Valhalla this evening and ran into an amped up Viking squad when they got there.  In a game that took 1 hour and 10 minutes to complete, Inglemoor's starting pitcher Spencer Trautman made quick work of the Ballard hitters in a dominant performance. Trautman threw a complete game shut out this evening allowing just 2 hits while striking out 4. 'Trout' threw a total of 57 pitches. 

Offensively Inglemoor laced the ball hard all night with many outs coming on balls stung sharply. The Viks ended up with 9 hits - 5 for extra bases.  Inglemoor jumped to a 4-0 lead in the 3rd when Sean Howard & Garrett Vandiver were plated on an infield single by Mitchell Gunsolus who immediately scored himself on a 2 run blast over the scoreboard off the bat of Viking catcher Ethan Yeo.  The Viks scored 7 more times in the 4th on RBI doubles by Scott Meyers, Peter Meuisi, Emmet Maki and Marc Dickerson. The win moves Inglemoor to 11-2 on conference play.
