Inglemoor Falls at State

The Inglemoor Vikings came into their State playoff matchup against Puyallup ready to go - but the senior led Puyallup team was not to be outdone on this afternoon beating Inglemoor then winning the Regional Championship taking Lake Washington in the finals. Uncharacteristic miscues on defense by Inglemoor and timely hitting by Puyallup proved fatal for the young Vikings. Inglemoor battled throughout but could not overcome spotting the tough Puyallup team 8 runs early.  The loss ended the Inglmeoor season - a season where the Viking reached State for only the 2nd time in this decade narrowly missing it last year as well.  The Baseball Vikings join Inglemoor's football and basketball teams in making it to State playoffs this year - the only KingCo school that can make that statement.  And, better yet is that all Vikings left Kent this afternoon with the feeling that this is only the start of many more runs to come for Viking Baseball.
